Yet another first this week on Office Worker Health, it’s my first ever interview! Owen Percy is the resident personal trainer at my local gym in Ashtown, Dublin 15. I’ve never taken a class or had a training session with Owen however I have been seeing and hearing lots of positive feedback from his clients for quite a while now so who better to chat to about all things health and fitness (with a focus on office workers of course).

From my point of view it was the areas of fitness, health and wellbeing that I was mostly interested in. In this blog I want to share with you what I learned from the speakers in those areas and some of the advice and tips that they discussed.

I had worked with a few of them beforehand and knew them to be a fit and healthy bunch of guys and girls so it took me a while to decide on what to speak to them about. I decided to share with them the worst habits I’ve observed in colleagues, co-workers and myself in 10+ years in an office setting.
Read MoreLast week I exclusively revealed what goes into my shopping trolley on a weekly basis. This time out I want to talk about the products I tend to avoid when I’m at the supermarket. I like to buy food and drinks that are healthy, nutritious and from a reliable source. If I’m not sure a product meets all of these criteria then I just won’t add it to my cart. Besides, it’s not like we’re short of alternatives these days.
